Breathtakingly Beautiful

I took this full day tour with Christina as the driver/guide. She was wonderfully informative explaining the detail of each location as we were driving so we could really appreciate it when we arrived. The only word to describe the Golden Circle is "breathtaking". Our final stop was The Blue Lagoon which was amazing. I cannot believe how much we managed to cram into one day

This tour is the best!! Book it and go!!

What a wonderful tour! Our friendly and knowledgeable guide picked us up at our preferred bus stop and off we went on our adventure. We got to see so much in just one day, it’s amazing! Our guide told us the history of Iceland and the areas we were passing in our 19-passenger van. We saw recent lava flows, a glacier lake inside a volcano, the most spectacular waterfalls, the meeting of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, a geyser field, then to top it off two hours at the relaxing Blue Lagoon! Yes, the Blue Lagoon isn’t where the locals go; it is touristy, but it’s unique too! I really enjoyed my silica mask and free drink. Then back to our hotel at the end of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. FANTASTIC!!!! I recommend this tour to everyone who doesn’t want to drive around on roads that can be confusing and dangerous. Both my husband and I got to see the roadside sights and felt very comfortable and safe.

Excellent from start to finish!

The tour was amazing! Had a perfect amount of time at each stop. We never felt rushed and always had plenty of time to see the sights. The bus was completely full but it was very comfortable. It don’t feel crowded. Walter was an amazing guide, full of information and lots of jokes. We highly recommend the tour! Whoop whoop 🙌

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does the Cancellation/Amendment Policy work?
If there are any changes to your trip to Iceland, it's always possible to either put your booking on hold (bookings never expire) or reschedule to your new travel dates. We also offer full refunds if you cancel your booking with more than 24 hours prior to your tour :)
  • How does Pick Up and Drop Off Work?
When you complete your booking, you’ll be asked to choose a pick up and drop off location. Where possible, we will collect you directly from your hotel. Some parts of the city have traffic restrictions, so you’ll need to go to a designated bus stop for collection instead if your hotel is in that area! Pick up takes 30 minutes, so we ask you to be ready when the Pick Up starts!
  • What to wear for the tour and what to bring?
Iceland’s weather is famously unpredictable, so you’ll need to prepare appropriately, whatever the time of year for your tour. That means choosing the right clothes (light layers), shoes (sturdy and waterproof) and coats (windproof & waterproof). And not wearing jeans, just in case it rains! Then of course bring your swim suits for the Blue Lagoon part!
  • Can I rent a Swimsuit and Towels at the Blue Lagoon?
Yes you can! Towels are provided as part of your admission price. If you’ve forgotten to bring your swimsuit, you can rent one, but it’s not guaranteed that all sizes are always available.
  • Are Meals included?
On our day tours from Reykjavik, we’ll make scheduled stops at various cafes and restaurants along the way, depending on weather conditions and the time of day. Food and drinks are not included in your ticket price, so it’s up to you to choose what to eat when we stop for a break. All dietary options are catered for in Iceland, but the selection of vegan and vegetarian meals may be limited in some locations.
  • Do you change the tour with the Weather Forecast?
Yes. We monitor the weather and road conditions on the tour route to maximize your chance to see Iceland’s attractions at their best. That means we may change the order or timing of the stops to take advantage of the weather (avoiding rain or snow showers where possible) and “golden hour” photo opportunities. If we receive a weather alert from the Icelandic Meteorological Office or roads are closed by the local authorities, we must cancel tours for your safety. Iceland’s weather is very changeable, meaning changes may occur quickly. If we have to cancel tours, we will send you an email notification immediately. So please check your email inbox before heading out to the collection point, particularly if the weather looks bad in the city. Sometimes the weather is worse outside the city, or vice versa!
  • Will I see everything in Winter with Limited Daylight?
We schedule our tours carefully to ensure you see Iceland’s natural marvels in daylight, even in the winter when there are more hours of darkness. Many attractions are also illuminated, adding another layer of magic to the natural splendor! During shortest days, these places are usually visited at dusk or In the winter months, tours will begin and end in darkness, but rest assured, you will see all the places you want to see!
  • What if my kid is under 5 years old?
We are sorry to say that the minimum age for this tour is 5 years old.
