The guides were knowledgeable, the boat seats comfortable! The small boat is definitely the way to go! The whales were literally 20’ from us at times or closer! Both my daughters said it was awesome! Wear layers and them they put you in a full suit and life vest. Loved, loved, loved it!

This is my first time going Whale watching. Our guide of the afternoon tour is Maria, she’s very knowledgable and energetic. She told us many interesting stories about whales along the way and always letting us know where to spot the whales. She went above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience, trying to ride the boat to different areas so we could get the most of this whale watching trip. We saw lots of Minke whales and Humpback whales and dolphins. They also drive the boat close by the little island where there are puffins, so that’s a bonus point. I also like to give my gratitude to the staff who stayed at the office that day, I didn’t get his name but he’s wearing glasses. I happened to forget my stuff inside the safety suit and I couldn’t find it anywhere in the office. He helped me look for them thoroughly through every single safety suits hanging in the office patiently. We found it eventually. I’m not sure if they will come to this review section but just want to let you know that I really really appreciate your help.

I booked this for my birthday as I've always wanted to see whales up close and was not disappointed. The whole experience from arrival was top class. I was excited to wear the thermal suits - I looked and felt official, it really set the tone for the activities that were to unfold. We had Ricardo as our guide and he was fantastic! Provided a lot of valuable information as we paused at Puffin Island - an unexpected but welcome addition to the adventure. We were fortunate enough to see several humpback whales as the Minke whales were shy on this day. Our Captain was awesome, following the whales in a way that wasn't intrusive but allows us access to them safely. I love how the team operated, everyone felt safe and comfortable, it was my first time the open ocean in such a small boat but I felt safe and was able to enjoy the excursion. I would highly recommend this company as they're very experienced, professional and friendly. I didn't feel awkward asking some basic questions and the responses were complete, informative and reassuring. I also didn't expect them to share photos of the whales we saw without charge as they got much better photos than me and I'm super grateful as it made the experience so much more memorable. I'm glad I chose to start my birthday celebrations with this company and would use them again.
